2000
Release
Greetings
from the Napa Valley!
We
are pleased to announce the release of our 2000 Strata Merlot. This
marks the second vintage produced by Strata Vineyards. We feel that
the uniqueness of the soil and the hands on grape growing and winemaking
has once again given us an incredibly lush wine with great character.
Tasting Notes:
Strata’s 2000 Merlot has a fabulous extraction of flavor, color,
and tannin. It carries a spicy nose of French oak, a balanced acidity,
as well as ripe & rich revealing layers of vanilla and blueberries.
The wine shows great depth and complexity while possessing the tannin
backbone necessary for extended aging.
